This woman was so excited that I thought her flower garden pretty enough to stop and take a picture of it, that she was nearly in tears. She kept thanking me for liking her garden and I kept thanking her for sharing it with us. It was a sweet moment.

Jay and I went on Saturday and it was a fun filled event! Don’t let the rain keep you away today and if you love the ocean and the beauty of the Tall Ships be sure to try and catch the Tall Ships when they visit Portsmouth NH . This year the Tall Ships Festival to be going to be held Aug. 7-9 in Portsmouth, where four visiting ships will all be open to the public.

A very peaceful moment on the Merrimack River just as the sun was starting to set. Doesn’t this almost looks like a painting? It just makes me want to find a row boat and explore all the little nooks and crannies of the river.

A mother Dove nesting with her babies
This Dove was pretty protective of her young. The grill was roped off so that she would be secure. Found at Salisbury beach state reservation campground.

Walking along the Merrimack River
A cold but sunny day along the Merrimack River in Salisbury Ma. was perfect for a river walk. We were camping at the beach and took advantage of day. Living in NH is sweet because you can easily take advantage of what neighboring states offer!

I’m dreaming about some Southern NH sunshine…
After two weeks of rain I can’t help but day dream about an afternoon spent at the beach two weeks ago. Warm sand and some very sweet sun were in abundance at Salisbury Beach.

The treacherous Merrimack looking a bit tame
A perfectly peaceful moment at the mouth of the mighty Merrimack River. I love camping at Salisbury Beach because of moments like this. The Merrimack at the mouth of the Atlantic Ocean is known to be a treacherous river…this day however she was pretty mild.

Roses along the shore
Pretty beach roses found along the side of the road at Salisbury Beach. I love how sweet they smell.

This was taken along a walkway in a cemetery along Kenoza Ave in Haverhill, MA back in 2007.
